Vermont Wine Shipping Laws

Vermont is a quiet New England state, full of gorgeous fall foliage and wonderful ski slopes. There are only a scant few wineries here, and they primarily make fruit wines. I love the wineries, they are very picturesque and have some lovely wines. I've been to all of them!

As of May 2006, Vermont can allow shipments! It was S.58, signed in by Governor Jim Douglas, which let this happen. A given winery can ship up to 12 cases a year to someone in Vermont.
