Alaska Wine Shipping Laws

Alaska is very cold to be making wine. Does anybody know of any wineries in Alaska?

Alaska is in an intersting situation, in part because the state is so huge and many parts of it are hard to get to. In general wine can be shipped to any person in Alaska without any limits. But there are exceptions. First there is the issue of dry towns. Some towns do not allow alcohol and therefore residents in those towns cannot get wine shipped in. Second, some towns are simply hard to get to. As they do not get "regular mail service" there is nobody licensed to handle wine who goes there. So those towns cannot get wine either.
