Spring is here! The *perfect* thing to do in the spring is to go out and visit local wineries. Every state has a winery or two in it. Some have a ton of wineries! You’ll see the vines starting to grow, get the new wines from the previous harvest, and see how wine begins. I’m about to buy a high def video camera, so I can visit wineries, record the visits and put them online for you to download! Watch for that to start up in the next few weeks

Every year I try to find wineries in Ireland, and every year I find a few small ones. Most people seem to want to drink Irish beer and Bailey’s Irish Cream, go figure Still, be sure to bring the luck of the Irish to your March-time fun events! There are many great wines to enjoy with Corned Beef & Cabbage, even if they hail from not-quite-Irish locations!
