Pizza for dinner at a friend’s house, sent Bob out for chianti. The only bottle not 1.5l in the local store was a $5 one. Not the best.

Barefoot Pinot Noir CA $5 12.5% alc – It’s only $5. You can’t expect much. It’s thin – not *bad* – but there are other $5 wines I prefer.
