Bogle Vineyards old vine zinfandel – yup, it means we went to Ruby Tuesday last night and had the leftover bottle. Smooth, tasty, 14.8% alc

Apremont vin de savoie 2009 11.5% alc – made from the jacquere grape. Light, floral, almost a little bubbly. A lovely sipping wine.

Acacia 2007 Pinot Noir 14.4% alc $19 – smooth plum, vanilla, even coffee flavors, solid body, lovely with cheese and on its own.

Pine and Post 2007 Chardonnay 13% alc – apple, pineapple, peach, fruity with nice acidity. Nice for $6. From Washington State.

Mommy’s Time Out Primitivo 2008 13.5% alc – Zinfandel from Italy. Plum, raspberry, acidic $9 – a cute name for a girl’s night out.

Porto Kopke Fine Tawny Port 20% alc – smooth, nuts, dried fruit, goes wonderfully with 85% Lindt chocolate.

2005 Midnight Merlot – Paso Robles 14.8% alc – black cherry, plum, smooth, luscious, finishing off the bottle with some cheddar cheese.

Charles Shaw 2009 Cab $3 12.5% alc – From Oz, for $3 this is impressive! A nice, drinkable wine with burgers and hot dogs.

2009 Layer Cake Shiraz – I’ve liked this wine in past years, but I’m just not enjoying this bottle. I’ll try another one soon to compare.
