Hi Lisa! I just opened this wine a few days ago. It has always been one of my favorites (and still is). It is not supposed to be bubbly. I noticed that the wine seems to have become sweeter over the years. Was there any residual sugar in your wine? If not, perhaps it was doing a little unintended secondary fermentation. I love the addition of Chenin Blanc to Viognier, it adds such a great acidity and burst of citrus fruit. I think Pine Ridge is on to something and it should be done this way more often. Loved the website!

I live in South Beach Phase Two-Land. Have been on it for years (really). Low carb is the way to go... well, that and a good workout every morning. I do love a chewy red wine, though. I had always avoided alcohol on SB1 - entirely - and it just made life so much harder. Will now consider keeping the red wine right in there, except maybe during cleanse weeks which unfortunately are still a necessity from time to time! Enjoying your website - well done!

If it's too hot to enjoy, sure! Why not? I mean I could see in certain circumstances with a pricey bottle poo-pooing the idea, but if it's a swealtering hot day and you want to enjoy an average priced glass of wine outside, a cube or two shouldn't be a problem! :)

What do you think?
