Citron / Cedro Champagne Cocktail Recipes
The citron fruit is quite fascinating. It is shaped like a lemon - but a lemon about four times as large as normal, and with a wrinkled skin. When you cut a citron open it looks more like an orange on the inside, in terms of texture. Technically the cedro lemon is known as a citron, but the word citron is confusing because in several languages citron means lemon.
The cedro, or citron, has a history dating back into antuiquity and is mentioned both in Greek writings and in the Bible. It's well worth trying!
