A guanabana is a fruity item, also called a soursop, grown in the Caribbean and other places. It's very sweet and has a cool pineapple-strawberry flavor. Add into that the sweet, citrusy flavor of tangerine - a lovely breakfast beverage. I like making this with Prosecco - the Italian bubbly - because Prosecco is also sweet and you get the perfect breakfast buffet drink. It's a great way to greet the morning!
1 shot guanabara juice
1 shot tangerine liqueur
Champagne or sparkling wine
Pour the guanabara juice into a Champagne flute, then add in the tangerine liqueur. Fill to the top with Champagne.
If you can't find tangerine liqueur, you can substitute grand marnier, cointreau or other orange flavored liqueurs. Just keep in mind that they will be heavier in flavor and darker in color.
