Sparkling Wine Tasting 2003

We enjoy doing Champagne tastings every year - and this year was exceptionally fun!

Perrier Jouet Grand Brut
Traditional French Champagne. Quite carbonated and yeasty - tart, vinegary and odiferous.

Greg Norman Estates
Smooth but a bit target - very inexpensive, quite good for the price.

Chandon
Californian sparkling wine. Sweet, bubbly and fruity

Pol Roget
Well balanced, smooth grapefruit and musky smell. Nice complexity.

Duval Leroy
Sharp bite with a light, tart flavor and pleasant aroma

Louis Roederer
Juicy, bubbly, tart, not too sweet. The favorite of many.

Moet and Chandon 1996
Interesting but a bit flat.
