Laird and Company offer Amarone
At the Laird and Company table, Jeff Hummer had some of my favorite wine styles available. Lairds has been around for centuries, back to an Applejack they created in 1760. They began importing around 16 years ago.
We tried the Amarone della Conte Sant Alda 1995. This had a rich, raisiny flavor, with a sweet, slightly tannic flavor. Very nice.
The 1996 Rocche Dell Annunziato Barolo was fruity and slightly tannic.
