Chicken and Wine - Wine Food Pairings

Chicken is one of THE hardest foods to just "pair" with wine. Chicken has pretty much no flavor on its own. However, you can serve it grilled, BBQed, teriyakied, with cream sauce, with garlic sauce, with a heavy red sauce, and so on. If you're going to make it with a red or white sauce, i.e. over pasta or rice, use the

White Sauce with pasta and
Red Sauce with pasta instructions.

If you're going to grill or BBQ it, use the Grill / BBQ instructions.

If you're really just going to serve it plain, you need a really light wine to not overwhelm it. That would be Champagne or Dry Riesling.
