Chocolate and Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most popular wines on the market. Cabernet Sauvignon is the name of both the grape and the wine it produces. It is often shortened to just "cabernet" even though there are other similar grapes such as Cabernet Franc.

Cabernet is known as one of the world's finest red wines, with its depth of complexity and richness of flavour. With its rich black currant and blackberry flavors, Cabernet goes very well with dark, rich chocolates. It does very well with berry chocolates, such as dark chocolate with a raspberry gel center.
