I would leave the dish on the bottom for a day and if you don't see any hulls after that then put the other dish up higher. After she eats, take the higher dish out, and try it again until she gets it!

Okay I caved in here is photos I took of my mom spoon feeding Coco..she won't use the food dish there is food in her playgym , no go, I tried to put a plate in the bottom nope- afraid of that too., i took the food dish out put it just beside the playgym and sat her on it and in it and she sat there but would not eat, then the spoon of course she ate.

Haha no kidding actually I just cleaned her cage and i removed the bottom grate and she went to her food dish to eat..ta da I knew it she was afraid of the floor, She has never had a grate on the bottom just paper towel. The food and water actually look easier to access on the grate but she can fly up that extra inch if doesn't want the grate, it's one less thing to wash. now I need to figure out if she is drinking.
Plus the awning i took off to make sure she saw the food(they keep poop from dropping in) I have to get those back too oh one day at a time maybe tommorrow the awning.
Sheesh.

OMG we have another spoiled keet lol, That is too cute I wonder if my Blue would like that cause even though he wont let me touch him he is the only one who doesnt run when I put my hand in the cage and loves when I hand feed him...He actually prefers it and I give in because he is so old lol.

That little green spoon I kept from a gelato place in the mall I have 3 different colours but the green matches the feeder (haha I'm a thinkin'..lol)
I originally got it out to try to feed her some homemade apple sauce i didn't know how else to do it cos the cups would be sitcky and gross and she tried it. So thats are "lets try new food spoon".

I am sure a regular Oh lala silver spoon would work too.
