Ah yes, Lacy Dalton, she ha such a clear and beautiful voice.

i never thought i'd say this... but i went to a westlife concert last monday(!) not at all my style, but i had a really great time! they did loads of rat-pack songs, which i'm a big fan of. it didn't take long for me to develop rather a large soft spot for those little irish fellas!

I quite like Westlife.

I am certainly being introduced to a lot of music I would otherwise ignore - having three youngsters.

My daughter is most put out that Busted have split up. She likes Avril Lavigne.

My younger son loves Gothic Rock. His favourites are Murderdolls, Marilyn Manson, etc.

My elder son likes punk and lots of music from the 70s. Nirvana is a favourite, too.

I actually like a lot of the music that my parents introduced me to: Nat King Cole, Doris Day, Gene Kelly, Pat Boone, etc.

I'm sorry, but I've never heard of Lacy Dalton.

Lacy Dalton is a country and western singer from America. I hadn't really heard of her before a good friend introduced me to her music. It's very relaxing and she has a wonderful voice.

I think one of my all time favourites would have to be Phantom of the Operaa sung by Michael Crawford. I still recall the day I first heard the song, I was in my sister in law's car and she was playing it. I commented on how beautiful the singer sounded and she told me it was Michael. My immediate thought was 'that chap from Some Mothers do Have them'? I was astounded and it wasn't until a short time later that I saw a documentary on him that I realised what a wonderful gentleman he appeared to be and had the voice to match.

I have to admit I download most of my music. If I hear a song I like I do a search for it and download it and save it to a folder. I have folders for 'easy listening', 'techno and trance', 'rock n roll', 'classical' and when there's enough in each folder they get copied to CD.

Too often I've bought a CD for one or two particular songs and then found that the rest I'm not all that keen on.
