Mostly people love Lord for their desires to be fulfilled. If one really loves Lord without any desire, then only Lord will be pleased. Lord did not say that 'you do anything but I will not be pleased'. If anybody says like that nobody can please him, he has some problem and Lord who is highest intelligent will never say like that. Now next we have to identify the means or the path to please the Lord. We show our real love to family members by serving them physically and also spending our hard earned money to satisfy their desires.
In the case of family members we show our love practically. Where as in the case of Lord, we do prayers by words, meditation by mind and spiritual discussion with our intelligence only. Lord gives all these freely to one and all. This is not a true devotion. Above this, if Lord comes in human form because of our ego and jealousy, we will not identify Him, instead hate Him, beat Him and even crucify. Are we doing any of these towards our family members where we have our real love? If we behave like this He will not be pleased definitely.
So we have to identify the Lord when He comes in human form and serve Him by participating in His mission. He will be definitely pleased. Service consists of donating money and physically participating in his mission of divine knowledge propagation. True worship results in the service. When the followers of Jesus participated in His mission, He got completely pleased and even undergone crucification to relieve them of their sins. He did not suffer on the cross for all the people in the world but for His people only who participated in His mission on His advice.

Dattaswami,
Please could you put the exact page reference source for any quotes that you post, and could you also please remove the large chunks that have been copied and pasted from another site, leaving only brief quotes.
I would rather you do it yourself, because if I edit it, I may not leave the same quotes that you would choose.
Thank you.

Um... I think he's like not listening or something?? That was A LOT of information to process and, like janimal, my brain just switches off!! I don't feel it my right to criticize other religions because I surely know my ain't perfect!! I wonder if Jesus was in Asia from 12-30... It WOULD make sense... Wouldn't He want the word spread as much as possible?

The Lord preaches divine knowledge, when He comes in Human form (Satguru) with the intention that people should follow it and get benefited. Practicing of the knowledge requires clear understanding of the concepts. The best way of understanding is to make use of the experiences we encounter in our day-to-day life, where we have got lot of exposure. In the preaching of divine knowledge Human Incarnation refers to His own concepts preached by Him previously.

The question is 'What can you do for the sake of Lord?'
Now let us assume that i donated a few rupees/dollars to somebody who is badly in need of money. It means i have done some charity. So my expectation will be that if i need any help or when i am in problem, i have to be helped because of this charity.
But who will help me now? To whomever i have done, will he/she is going to come and help me? To whomever I have helped, may not be knowing my situation also. But the omnipotent Lord who knows about your chairty done in the past and your present problem also, can make some way for you to get the help. This is some what in the form of His divine administration.
For such an omnipotent Lord, should we not be grateful to Him? Should we not love Him truly? Now if your love is true, what is that you can sacrifice for Him? Just think in these lines.

the question is what can you do for the sake of the forum! when are you going to come up with something coherent and logical that might constitute part of a discussion?
The Lord is not in need of money or fame. All this creation is His wealth. The Lord also does not hesitate to speak the ultimate truth always because He is not in need of fame or followers. Veda says that the truth of the knowledge is the absolute God (Satyam, Jnanam…). Therefore, whether My knowledge is accepted by anybody or not, I am not at all concerned.
The Holy Bible says that the Lord comes with the sword to spoil your peace and not to unite you with others. Every human being wants eternal peace and bliss. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
A person earns money by doing worldly work. Another person earns the same money through spiritual work. Between these two who is the sinner? Certainly, the latter person. Therefore, you must realize that the goal of the spiritual path is not peace and bliss. The goal of the spiritual path is sacrifice of peace and bliss in Lord’s mission. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The aim of the spiritual path should be to please the Lord and not to please yourself. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
