What a contrast between Adam and Christ, who was yet to come! And what a difference between our sin and God's generous gift of forgiveness. For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin. But this other man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through God's bountiful gift. And the result of God's gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man's sin. For Adam's sin led to condemnation, but we have the free gift of being accepted by God, even though we are guilty of many sins. The things that happen to us happen as a result of one person's sin but the good news is that there is a God and His love for us is so great that He sent His Son. So while physical death does have a claim on us spiritual death will not if we believe in Christ Jesus. [/b]

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe that. That makes no sense at all.

I am not alone in thinking that the story of Adam and Eve is unlikely to be true. Even many Christians accept that it is probably an allegory.
To say that Adam's sin brought death to the world is illogical and has to be untrue.
When could Adam have lived? How is it possible that he and Eve were the first, when we know that Neanderthals, Homo Erectus, etc, lived before? Unless Adam & Eve were Ape-men?
We have discussed these matters elsewhere and I don't want to get off topic, but we cannot really consider this matter, without repeating these arguments from elsewhere.
