I can't believe Angel died!I'm too upset First Jay-Jay died last month and now Angel.I don't know why Angel never get along with any keet she killed Jay and she died by Sunshine.She was a sweet bird and tame and always eat off my hand.I buries her near Jay grave and Leafy.I DON"T KNOW what to do with the egg she left behine.R.I.P.Angel

thats too bad. Was she sick? Egg bound maybe? Birds don't just die without some kind of warning. There's nothing to do with the egg, unless you know for sure its fertile, then maybe one of your other birds will adopt it, but I would just bury it with its mother.

I'm so sorry! I don't know what I'd do if one of my birds died! I'm so sorryyyy. Just make her a nice little grave. I have an animal cemetary in my backyard that I've kept for about 10 years..

I would never, ever bury a live egg! That is killing a living creature.

Please do try to foster it with another bird, and call your vet immediately. Hopefully you are already in contact with the vet because of the deaths and he can help you through incubating the egg or perhaps even know of someone who can take the egg to raise it.

Well I don't think the egg will NEVER hatch because when she hatch it, she was the only one who sat on her egg in the nesting box and when any bird came near her she would bite them so the egg is fertil...R.I.P Angel

Im sorry for your loss and hope you are coping well. Its a horrible thing to experience when a bird or any pet or in fact any living being that you are really close to leaves or passes on. I bet your keet had a great loving family and will always be remembered.
