I have a golden, they shed in fluff's and I vac twice a day, they are strong dogs, easy to train, SMART gentle dogs with a lot of energy and need and want to be with their people, I do not have a big yard, but when he is out he has an over head run the lenght of the yard, they are diggers and chewers and need strong indestructable toys, lot's of play time brushed daily or at least weekly, given all this I would own another as he is my 2nd golden and because they are so good and gentle and loveable I will get another when he is gone but that is a long way off as he is only 11 months old, 26 inches high and 80 lbs of solid muscle
