Our beautiful Tweets passed away yesturday. He was so sweet! He gave kisses and sang so beautifully! I am having a harder time with this than my daughter who actually owned him! I was up most of the night bawling my eyes out! We were blessed with his sweet spirit for only a few months. But what fun we had during that time!! I love you Tweets and will miss you always!

No just him He was the first one we ever had. I did LOTS and LOTS of research and decided a parakeet would be the best! And he was! I feel bad because my boys were in the room when it happened.. he flew into a door they had just closed Poor guys! I think he probably broke his neck. I hope he didnt suffer too much!

I think they are ok.. they are only 6 and 4. My 4 yr old is breaking my heart though! He keeps asking to see him.. we have him in a little sugar cube box in the freezer until we can bury him tonight! Poor little thing! SOOO SOOO SAD!!! My hubby keeps telling me I am breaking his heart with all the crying! But I can't help it! I was VERY attached even though we only had him for 4 months. Thank you sooo very much for all your kind words!! It helps me MUCH!!

Yes! My daughter and I will be the ones that are a mess though! But mostly me! My hubby was saying "See this is Y I don't want to have pets cause I hate watching you guys go through this!" But we are DEFINETLY getting another!! Parakeets are amazing!! SO fun and full of personality!! We just have to be more careful and always keep an eye on the little ones!
