I have 2 parakeets in it, soon to be three, and 2 finches in it.

wow! that's a pretty big cage. =]

What's the bar spacing on it? Species shouldn't be mixed. You have a BIG BIG risk of an accident happening...the bar spacing may be too big for the finches, and they can get their head/body/limbs stuck and could be really injured/die. Or The finches or keets could just spiratically start to fight, and could end up killing each other...

Mixing species in the same cage is NEVER EVER a good idea.

so that mean that its not good if Buddie and Dipper are in the cage togeher? cuz thats the only cage i have and cant get another one..

it is generally thought of to be a bad idea. If your birds get along for the most part though, I wouldnt worry too much

Bird-crazy: If you have no choice, then yeah...that's fine. =] But generally, diff. species should not be housed together!

Did i tell u guys i got a tiel??!! and the cage that had 5/8 bar spacing? yeah we got a refund and we got a cage with 1/2 in spacing.
