I'm buying my birdies a bigger cage with my grad money

all I say is it cost in the three figure range.Can a teil live in the birdhouse I have now when the new cage arrives?at a area pet store,not a chain store.

erh I dunno, youd have to ask the teil people on the forum.
You could also try a parrotlet or a lovebird maybe, they're supposed to make super pets as well and are a bit smaller then teils...

Just don't put them in the same cages.
Lovebirds kill any other birds.
And parrotlets ... I'm just not sure if they can stay in the same cage.

And plus, Heath is right. They'll have so many more perches, toys, and overall room!

I had finally decided on a cage and went about searching for the best price for it online. I'm now completely confused and wonder what to believe. I have decided on an HQ brand model 22620 or 82620 (same size, different shaped top). Anyway the same model number lists different bar spacings!!!! It says 1/2" on some sites but it lists 3/5" on others!!! Which is correct and is the difference enough to warrant not ordering this brand/model??

erh... well... bar spacing is important, maybe email the manufacturer or the store that sells it and ask them to verify bar spacing? 1/2 inch is really ideal, if the birds can get any part of their body through and stuck then they'll go nuts and most likely end ups eriously injuring themselves

yes. bar spacing IS serious. Find out for sure! under 1/2 inch.
