my dad is really mad at me for no reason really. I'm going away to college. and now he's making me get rid of my parakeets. does anyone want 3 keets. (I will not give them away individually, they're all friends). One of them has 2 eggs, it can be up to you whether to keep them or not. I'm extremely upset by this and do not want to actually get rid of them. I love my keets. If no one can take them, does any one know of a place that I can give them away (not a budgiebin becasue them they'd get separated) please help!!

i don't want to get rid of them at all. my dad is majorly overreacting. he was basically mad because i slept until 11:15, which for one isn't that bad, but he's always up at the crack of dawn so he thinks its bad. but the worst part is i wasn't even sleeping, i felt sick and knew if i got up i'd throw up, so i stayed laying down a little while. I had been up since 10:00!!

check your school guidelines--at columbia, we're allowed to have pets if they can be humanely kept in a cage....(naturally, that doesn't really include keeties, but to administration, it does ) this is awful!!! i REALLY don't want you to give away your keeties i'm so upset! why is your dad making you give them away???

my school allows one kind of pet... fish in a tank less than 10 gallons!! i'm gonna talk to my dad when he gets home. he was grumpy this morning and i know he lovvveees the keets as much as i do... i can't get rid of them!!

hahahaha i just now convinced him to let me keep them until the babies hatch. andddd i know my dad too well, he loves baby animals and i know he's gonna end up hand feeding them... so i get to keep my keeties for good!! :-D YAY
