budgies need room enough to let their wings out for excerise,also they like todo all kinds of stuff,you would need feeding bowls for each of them water bowls and toys for them to play with ;so they don't get bored.a cage that is to small may cause the stress factor to kick in,;do to the fact there isn't enough room to move around in.just so you can understand my 7 budgies babies share a 5'5 tall 3'wide cage.their able to fly around keep themselves busy with their toys and each other.they have five hugh feeding bowls and two water bowls.each one can be on a different level of the cage if they want alone time.they have to be able to move around freely without their wings orr body hitting something and that is what would happen with a cage tocsmall.

How do you make a cage...?
can you use the type of material used for door screens...?
Cuz i want to amke one outside, but i don't know what kind of materials are harmful to the parakeet....!!!!

welcome to the forum,kisa_411.we try hard not to post on someone elses post.you need to start your own post for building a cage.there are people on here who have done it.you could look it's on the forum. it here I just can't remember the post,I think it was building a cage,check the back posts.good luck
