The question has been raised recently, perhaps it is answered with in the thread but I am not about to read 42 pages so I'll just ask. Where did you get the original list of cage sizes?

LLPB had different cage sizes at first but then a lot of forum members were unhppy because they felt like their cages were plenty big enough for the amount of keets that they had but the cage didn't fit according to this post (woah, that was a run-on). I think she got the original list of cage sizes from a forum member. One that hasn't been on for years.

Ok so in that case all I would like to point out is that these cage sizes are much like the Pirates code. A set of guide lines, not rules. Dont get me wrng if your cage is less then18x18 i will still happily beat you with a verbal stick. but as more budgies are added just use common sense. You nened enough room for each bird to be by itself if it wants, enough toys for all not to fight and enough feeders. that's it. You dont necessarily need a mansion build for a macaw...

LOL!! So, Aruba's cage is just under the recommendations for two keets and I am getting two more for a total of 3. I just ordered another cage exactly like it. The cage has side doors and what I plan to do is this:

When they are all acclimated to each other and getting along as well as 3 keets do (all 3 boys), I will have the cages butted up to each other with the adjoining side doors open. All 3 will be able to freely move between the two cages with out getting out.

Does that sound like a good plan??

i think so, i have been lookin at both my cages, and it would be really kool to take off 1 side on each and put them 2gether
