^Yup, look up animal paw prints and have them match the animal to the print, even better if the weather is good actually make casts of plaster in the shape of the prints and then when dry leave track impression in the ground leading to a place that animal might go like bunny tracks to a hole in the ground or squirrel tracks to an acorn.
