You have been given good advice here.

I think I know how you might feel, because I was always the 'prude' at school. I would tell the other girls that it wasn't right to let boys touch them, etc. I also thought that they should wait until they were much older ~ & wiser ~ before experimenting with boys ~ especially when under the influence of alcohol.

Maybe some took notice, but others just thought that I was a pain and a preacher. Long term, though, I think that I had the more settled life ~ long happy marriage, etc.

The thing is, you can tell them how you feel and, as long as they respect your choices, that's all you can do. They can still be your friends, but you can agree to disagree on what is acceptable & respectable ~ though, if they are very young, they probably do need some guidance, before they get themselves into a lot of trouble.

Different people have different standards. It may be down to religion, culture, upbringing or simply personal choice.

You sound like a good friend to them, but you feel lonely because you can't share.

Just carry on keeping to your own moral standards.

Is there any chance of changing class ~ or making new friends elsewhere?

Is there a school counsellor you could talk to?

which unfortunately seems to be all too common of a practice among the younger generation these days.

yep i was the wierdo loner in school too ... i had friends and no one hated me but i didnt fit in ... not at all.

i was not allowed to even THINK about having a boyfriend ... and due to being raised to think having one was a bad thing or at least not such a big deal i didnt mind it ... i ignored boys totally ... sadly i developed early so they didnt ignore me hahaha

my first "date" was when i was 19 and i was engaged to the guy 3 weeks later ROFL

so ive never actually dated or had to go through that roller coaster and i LOVE that....

all the girls were dating, kissing, having sex and so on and i was STUDYING hahaha

but now alot of them have too many kids to count .. or diseases ... many of them never went to college and if they did they failed out ... im speaking of the girls who focused on BOYS BOYS BOYS lol

stay strong ... it DOES get better in college ... men will always be wierdos and seemingly immature ... but at least they do progrees beyond this time of antics ...most of them anyway ... the rest end up in jail haha

haha! I swear I'm only 18! I guess they would be the younger part of my generation.

but I have a friend who started drinking in 8th grade and it has only escaladed from there. She eventually dropped out of high school 3 months before graduation, went on crazy drinking binges, and eventually woke up in an ambulance after she wrapped her car around a tree at 3am going 60mph (BAC= .32+). She spent a month in jail and was on probation (which she broke 3 days after getting out of jail) and then went back to jail for a half a month then onto rehab for 30days. It's no silly thing. She's only 18.

loraxpeexforkeets is right. there are girls in my middle school who have a new guy every week. it can be exasperating, just know that you are a better person than that.

lora- yes, i am in the 8th grade.(tellin my age has been nawing at me, this situation will be easier to help if you know my age, hehe) i always thought that i was a good person, i was literlally never rude unless someone was rude to me. the only time i explode is like once a month, im hungry or im just sick of my life. u girls kno what i mean, i kno u kno what im talking about...hahaha. so when ppl laugh at me when i say something that is different from what they think, i say atleast im not the same as everyone else! its true. if we were alll the same, wed all be the same sex, haircolor eyecolor, facial details...etc. and im not. im only in 8th grade, im having family problems and not one of my friends is next to me right now. not one.

all of this advice is so kind, and i thank everyone for helping me. if only everyone in the world was kind like you guys...but anyway, anymore questions you had and i overread them, just repost them and ill answer them.

i cannot do this alone and my mom barely talks to me anymore. (im mad at her and i dont want to talk to her alot anymore-personal reasons)

Quick question... is it at all possible that these girls actually like the boys and just tell you they don't because they know you don't?
I'm not saying it's OK for the boys to be getting around as they seem to be or for the girls to let them do so but being a hormonal girl can make it pretty difficult to differentiate what feel right from what is right. Don't hold it against them so much. The next time one of them says 'robbie kissed me ew' dont laugh and play along just look her point blank in the face and go 'if it's so gross why'd you let him?' cuz if it is a self esteem issue, chances are pointing it out will make them take a step back and go hey wait... why did I let him.
Hang in there, you're just starting a very long road of people hooking up and dating and having sex and fighting and breaking up and crying and one night stands and drunken hookups and you my dear will get to hear about them all. The best thing you can do is know who you are and how you feel (and it seems like you do) and help your friends figure out who they are and how they feel. I'm 22 years old and honestly it hasn't stopped yet. it's jsut gotten worse as time went on... but also as time goes on you learn how to phrase 'uh... he's a loser' in a way that causes zero hurt feelings and realization that yeah, he is a loser...

It really is tough feeling like your alone.You are choosing to walk a path you know is right. I had the same experience and I never regretted it for one second. In the long run, how you feel about yourself is all that matters. You are not alone though,I totaly respect that you probably have some really good reasons why you don't talk to your Mom very much. But that has got to be a really big void in your life. Worse than loseing any of your friends. Moms can be our best friends when we need it most. Sometimes we don't realize how much we miss something until we find it again. Sometimes it is really hard to reach out and try to mend relationships. Sometimes when we do, it is like a good cry. It doesn't feel very good when it is happening, but after we are drying the tears and someone is hugging us we wonder why we didn't do it sooner.

okay, so for the dance on friday night(yesterday), all the girls besides me, and 3 of my friends were going to the "cool" girls house. they were to get ready there, and then go to the dance and party till ten. but on the bus, we like to kid around and slap eachother(omg, the other day with just the 7th grade boys and me was HILARIOUS! I slapped them, but they couldnt slap me...hehehehe)and then one the girls who was going to the cool girls house slapped the girl who wasnt, and then she slapped her back. then that girl got mad, and jumped on her, and then another girl did, and she started to fall into the crack. then anohter girl jumped onto her and she screamed cuz they made her hit her shoulder. then i was like guys! you have to get up! ur gonna get me in trouble(im the safety, so if kids r bad, its on my head)! but they didnt. then they thought she was crying, laughed, and sat down. but she didnt move. so i was kidding around and then i sed hold on, ill help you up since no one else will. then they flipped out! they screamed at me saying oh, so were the bad ppl? i was like, so flippin mad...but i sed yep. they got madder. haha, they were red. (sorry, but it was kinda funny that they were trying to bring my spirit down when they couldnt possibly bring it any closer to the ground. haha) so then they got mad cuz i stuck up for sumone that they dont really like even tho she is really nice, pretty, smart and anything else they dont have.
so then, they try to tell me it was none of my business even tho I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. thats what i told them. not meanly either, till they sed nuh uh! u were right...then they paused. they knew i was right there. so then my "friend" who is sittin next to the cool girl's house gives me a dirty/sad look. now im mad at her. im not gonna talk to her alot anymore. shes been ignorin me. on aim, myspace, reallife.
back to the story...

so when the cool girl gets in trouble by the bus driver, she says no way, i didnt do anything. (she did) then she yells everyones name on the bus and sez do u have my back? guess who's name she doesnt say?
when i got home i didnt want to go to the dance. then i got a phone call from the girl who was sat on. she had that crying voice on. then she asked me if i wanted to get ready for the dance at her house. i sed i had to ask, but then i asked her what was wrong. she sed nuthin, but then i sed nuh uh and she asked me why they were rude to her even tho she isnt rude to them. then we got talking. i was wondering why our so called friends were like that. so i went to her house and then all was good.

at the dance, they all told me i was "so pretty" i could care less. i dont care if im pretty! i seriously dont! now, if they wanted to butter me up, then, they couldnt do it that way. so we danced(well not me, ima wall flower) and we got to play alot of games...till they started to grind. you kno what that is? its dancing? well, a ton of my friends cum up to me complaing that they were"molested" by two boys. one in front of them and one behind. so i sed, well then why did you even do that? they sed cuz i wanted to and i rolled my eyes everytime and sed exactly! then another time, they sed that they were bein "raped" and then i sed u wouldnt be laughing. u would be crying. if you liked it so much, then why are you complaing? this question took a long time to answer. they sed im not! yea, wait till im not here in ur life. wait and see then. just wait.
