I have been so depressed since Scott has started working nights. I cant sleep, I havent eaten anything but an orange and a few diet pops in the last 2 days. I either cry or yell at him when I see him, and I just want to go lay in bed and curl into a ball. The only thing that makes me feel better are my babies, but now Lil Baby might be sick and I just cant bear the thought of having to force feed her antibiotics. I just dont know what to do with myself right now...

Depression is a serious illness. Untreated it can lead to physical pain, physical breakdown, and ultimately suicide.

Thankfully there are medicines that treat depression as a brain disorder, such as Zoloft and Cymbalta. Just as if you need anti-biotics to treat a temporary infections, depression medicines can help you through a brain disorder.

contact your family doctor and tell him/her your symptoms and get a prescription for one of the anti-depressants.

if you think you can control it by "being happy" or following whatever the advice was offered above (I can't understand a word of what the poster was writing), just remember trying to conrol diarrhea, or vomiting without some type of aid. it's a physical illness and needs to be treated.

help is available, get it.

Depression is a serious illness.

you are just rude.

and im sorry but not all forms of depression need be treated with drugs and in fact in many cases drugs only make it worse.

depression to a level that needs drugs to help with it is indeed very serious... however being upset or angry at a life situation is not a time to just go out and get some drugs ... what horrible advice that is.

clinical depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain... its normaly chronic and should be treated ... but not always with drugs... only the most severe cases need that kind of extreme treatment.

if you can not be kind then please do not refer to me or even acknowledge me you are a worthless wretch and a racist fool im sick of you .. ive been the bigger person and walked away from you do not come here and try to use this persons normal decent post for your immature xxxx its insensitive and just plane rude.

if you have a problem with me take it up with me .... directly ... but id imagine thats not your style ... you only like to poke prod and create the drama ...

Andrea- I am so sorry love! It is a hard thing to adjust too. If I was closer I would take you out for Coffee and a good cry or maybe a shopping spree! lol
It really stinks having to give keets antibiotics. I toweled Basil and used an eye dropper. He got a half an eye dropper a night and was better in a couple days. He was very mad at me but it was worth it to make my little man better. Just have a really thick towel.
Is there anything that you can maybe do for Scott while he is away? I wrote Brian little notes and hid them around the house while he was gone on a trip. I would wear his sweatshirts and sleep with his pillow. It helped me feel better. Hopefully this is not a permanent thing for you guys. I will be praying for you guys. (((((many hugs))))))

What are you talking about? racist? wretch? fool? immature? insensitive? rude?

I'm trying to help a person who said they were depressed. I wasn't talking to you, or about you. I didn't even mention your name. I'm replying to the original poster, not you.

Show me, anywhere in what I wrote above anything that is racist, foolish, immature, insensitive or rude. I doubt you can.

Grow up.

Show me exactly where you think I was rude.

having dealt with depression before in my family I know what toll it takes. People think, "Oh I'll just get over it" or "I just need cheering up" but that's not the case.

The OP listed symptoms of real depression. Depression is a serious illness and needs to be addressed.

You really need to stop whining about people picking on you and get over yourself.

im not whining .. its not my style but im also not blind.

you said LOUD AND CLEAR and you know what you said .. dont patronize me and demand me to copy paste it ... i took a pic of it even cuz im sure you will edit it ..

you had no reason what do ever to mention me even once in your reply ... if you THINk you had good advice an dyou are so concerned then post without mentioning me at all .. or can you not do that ???

i told you if you stay away of me i will stay away of you ... and ive done that ...

and i think it is you who needs to get over me ... you are the one obsessed with me ... why else would you mention me out of no where and insult me out of no where for no reason ???

your type of people are a flea on the rear end of mankind .... you poke and prod and then when people finally come after you and tell you off you act all innocent and victimized ... it doesnt work with me pal ... mention me u get me ... ur choice
