my keets name is tiki too, my husband said when we bought him that we should pick a name that was non gender or could be for either, bu ti told him i didnt think it mattered because if we found out it was a girl and was named charlie or bob or something, that would be kinda cute. plus he used to have a female cat that he named george and that was cute. i htink once they are named the name should stick because its their name. i dont belive in changing a pets name bacsue you decided you dont like it anymore.

That's my philosophy! My Grace and Emma are males, and Jake is female. I had named them according to the genders that I *thought* they were, but they all turned out to be the opposite of what I had originally thought. lol

your birds are so cute and adorable.you can't just look at a female and kow she's carrying eggs.if you watch her if she's in breeding mode she will try to build a nest.she will tear up paper, she will steady at a cutterbone.she might even sit on a food dish like ti's a nest.her vent I believe will be swollen.someone on the breeding forum ight know of more signs.
