Aww David im so sorry to hear this. I to have one that may pass today or soon. she is at the vets now so I kmnow what your feeling. Just know that you have done everything you could do for her and when she leaves this world she will die knowing that you was there with her and how much you love her. I really do believe that animals are like humans in this nature..they take the love with them Many prayers your way.

I'm so sorry You gave her a wonderful home, many people wouldn't of even taken her to a vet. You're a very kind person to give Cricket a chance and a great life, even if it were short, at least she's in peace now.

David so sorry to hear maybe there is someplace all of our birds go to that way maybe cricket is keeping Pebbles and Chip and Lucky company. Its so hard to loose one of our babies.

I am so, so sorry to hear that Cricket didn't pull through. I see what you mean about her finally being at peace, and I think that rescuing another keet someday in her honor is a very lovely & touching idea.

I just saw this post and I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I sadly know what you are going through. We lost Louie in a very similar way and what helped me get through it best was knowing that not only was he no longer in pain, but you did all you could. It's not like you left her sick, you took her to the vet and gave her the best care you could. You are an amazing keet owner who treated her with so much love. Know you are not alone because we are always here for support.
