I have one brother.

My family? Strange? Of course not ~ it's only other people who say that!

Famous relatives? ~ Well, Tom Jones is very distantly related by marriage, as is another relatively famous Welsman, Max Boyce ~ but I don't think that you can really count them. (My Mum did vaguely know Tom Jones when he was a child).

Family history research indicates ~ but hasn't completely proved yet ~ that we are descended from the royal families of Europe and related to some other descendants, who are well-known in the commercial world.

I have one brother, Two step brothers (one on each side), a half-sister I've never met, and a best friend that I consider my sister.

My family is crazy, there's no way around it.

My dad's side of the family is 100% polish. on his side of the family, I have 3 relatives, the rest of them are no longer alive. Our last name is spelled really awkward and no one gets how to say the english pronounciation of it, so I get called weird names all the time... but I love it anyway

like every other person i meet has a half sister they never met! thats cool that youre half 100% polish, hehe.

and yeah, on my dad's side of the family, my dad has one sister, who has one daughter, who has one daughter. The family name will end with my brother if he never has kids (which I actually think will happen) unless I keep my maiden name when/ if I get married and have kids.

Odd thing- 1-My dad is an only child, I am an only child and my husband is an only child! Makes our relationship interesting.
2- my mothers side of the tree had huge families. My great great grandfather was one of 22 children! Several died including his first wife from the flu pandemic in the early 1900's. He remarried in 3 months to a woman with the same name (who was a cousin to his 1st wife) and had eleven more children. total=22

3. There are several ties on the Eddy side (my maiden name) but no one that you all would know. One came over on the Mayflower and we are trying to get proof of that. I am still researching so who knows what I will uncover.
