yea im happy that i did the necropsy, the vet hated to even ask me and i hated to say yes, the thought of my poor lil max going thru one more thing just broke my heart, but i knew it was neccesary.

at least now i know he was much worse off than we knew and at least he had some comfort in his last days in stead of sitting in a horrid petco.

and yea petco was STUPID enough to fax my vet a contract to pay for services, so they wont get out of it ...

and the thing is, whatever is wrong with max could easily have been avoided.... if its infection then he should never have gotten it and if it was something congenital then he should have been treated and would ahve easily survived if treated properly.

and like the vet said, they knew 100% he was sick, it was obvious to any untrained eye let alone a trained professional... he should have been given care but he wasnt he was sold like a object for profit, and that just makes me want to vomit.

and LOL yea max was a girl, but when i first got him his cere was a definite blue, but it turned to a stark white over time:( we thought it was due to sickness but turns out it was just him being a girl .... my sweet gender confused keets:)

trust me i will not let max's suffering go in vein ....oh and petco in their ever so graceful tactful and loving way ... told me i was welcome to come get my money back for max's purchase price. (a whole $12)

oh and samaa is doin ok .... she is lonely ... but thats understandable she has never been alone before in her life....but she is eating like a horse(pellets, and veggies yaaaay) she isnt a picky eater like jazzie and nunu ... very simple gal ..

she isnt tame yet ... very scared of hands... and she absolutly cant stand to be in that cage lol so she is out most of the time ... so she can sit ON TOP of the cage LMAO

she has warmed up to me though ... loooooves to preen me and loves to have her head rubbed:)

ugh, i hate petco and petsmart. ill help in any way i can to get them to close or to get them to have better health insurance (i guess thats what its called).

Yeah, Petco needs to pay for the vet bills and your vet will back your arguement up I'll bet. They know the whole truth.

OMG girl I just want to hug you and say GOOD FOR YOU for keeping that in writing. dont let them slide out of that Im just glad that max(amas) is not suffering now and gabby has a great new friend to fly with and have a millet feast

yes max has a new self and im sure he is flying around somewhere getting as fat as he can:)

yea i know how companies are ... so as soon as they said they would cover it i told them my vet needed that faxed to them in order to proceed(y vet didnt need it lol) so they had faxed back and forth a few times with my vet and 3 staff from my vets office spoke to them as well as three of the vets

yea i was like u want to give me my $12 back??? and you think thats gona heal whats been done???? which i know it was an attempt on their part to #1 show "sympathy" and #2 say well we refunded her the price of the bird we arent responsible for it anylonger ... they think im DUMB.

and all they did was solidify in my mind what i already knew, these arent living beings to them, only an object on a shelf
