He was fine last night. He was happily chirping and singing like crazy right along with the music, and flying around the cage. This morning, he flew down to the floor and walked over to the cage door, and I talked with him. We were leaving in a few minutes, so I didn't open the door and hold him. I told him I would when I returned. And when I got home, he was under the food dish. He did love his millet.

Oh NO!! Not one of my favorite English boys!! He was such a looker!! How old was he?? I know their life span can be shorter than regular keets. I got a new English boy not long ago, but I always worry about finding BIG BIRD at the bottom of the cage. I know you will miss him dearly! Big hugs!!

That is a good long life for an English Budgie! ...of course not long enough as far as you are concerned. You obviously take very good care of your birds?? What was his diet, if you don't mind me asking??
