I'm glad to hear that he gained weight. I'll keep little Miko in my thoughts.

OK, so here's the deal...

The vet just called and said Petey's culture grew strep. So tonight I have to pick up the meds and give Petey 1 drop twice a day, and Miko will get 1/2 a drop twice a day. It will be very easy to medicate Miko, as she's been eating and drinking from me whenever I hold her.

Petey is another case. The vet said they get strep overgrowth when they get stressed out...so apparently the baby and me chasing him around trying to medicate him for the other virus stressed him out. Soooo.... he's going to the vet again today to get his wings clipped so I can medicate him easier. I hope the baby doesn't think the interaction she's about to witness between Petey and I means I'm a threat.

Hopefully this will be it this time! It doesn't sound like this is a big deal.

Alright, so the vet has me medicating Petey, Olivia, and Miko. It's strep, due to stress- they think it's all the parenting they've been doing. Anyhow, Petey and Olivia are on one drop, twice a day, and Miko is on half a drop twice a day- for 14 days.

Last night I managed to spill half the bottle, so I think I'll have to go in for a refill in a few days. Darn my clumsy ways!

Sunny, I do hope baby, mommy and daddy will all be okay! Can I ask, what was the antibiotic you put in the water? What was it originally for? I am trying to keep myself educated on keety sicknesses.
