I've still got the show on my DVR. I've watched it twice. I although I knew about Jin, I still cried my heart out for him both times I watched the season finale. I really liked Jin and Sun. But I was glad over Desmond and Penny.
I just find that so totally weird that they moved the island! And what happened to the surrounding islands? They seemed to have disapeared as well. And what about the guys with Faraday in the raft? Did they move with the island? I didn't see them after the island disapeared. I was wishing that maybe they'd find Jin and take him with them to another island. I'll have to watch it again, I don't remember if the ship disapeared as well, I think it might have.
At least I think it explains why there were polar bears on the island, and how a polar bear got to the desert. It was a Dharma bear and was located in the same area that Ben landed himself in.
Why is it that they can't name Locke? And how or why did he die? That's what I want to know!!
If both Ben and Locke have a mother named Emily, and both were premature, I was thinking that maybe they were half brothers.
I agree! That was definitely a heart-wrentching scene!
I was thinking te same thing! Maybe Faraday will pick up Jin if he survived. Jin was on the edge of the raft right before it exploded, do he may have had just enough time to jump off and survive. That is, if he wasn't impailed with debris.
The thing is that Faraday and the raft were further away from the island than the people in the helicopter, and the helicopter didn't move with the island. Maybe that's because they were in the air ...?
Did you notice that when Ben was moving the island, he was wearing the same coat and had the same injury on his arm as in the desert? So wouldn't that mean that h e time-travelled? So, is that what Dharma has been testing all along and that's why they are so secretive?
What I found interesting is that both John Locke and Jeremy Bentham (his "new" name) were philosophers. And John Locke was actually an influence on Jeremy Bentham. Very interesting ... but you're right. How did he die? How did he get off the island?
Remember at the very end Ben said Jack would have to bring them ALL back to the island in order to save the people on the island? Does that include Walt?
I can't believe how few people ae left on the island. Rose, Bernard, Juliet, Sawyer, Miles, Charlotte, Locke and about 10 background survivors. And of course the Others. I can't believe that there were 48 survivors at first. Because about 5 815ers (not including Michael and Jin) died in the freighter explosion, about 4 were shot dead when Sawyer was dodging bullets, and there are about 5 on the raft right now with Faraday and who knows what's going to happen there.
It's amazing and very sad to me that Sawyer and Juliet are going to be on the island for another 3 years. Because the flash-forwards went that far into the future and they were still on the island.
I think Locke is ging to be interested in what Ben ws doing, move the island again, and time travel but in the process he will kill himself.
Great finale, no matter what though!
