Oh my goodness so cute!

he's soooo cuute!!

the video is amazing and the bay is growing so fast.

Here are some pictures of Miko at 16 days old. More and more feathers are growing out. Looks like his wings are going to be white and gray/black striped like Petey's. Also, more pin feathers are coming through all over his body, in a blue color. In addition, Miko's tail feathers are growing longer and longer, and some are white, while others are bright blue!

So, I may be going out on a limb here, but I think Miko may end up looking like Petey! Another VIOLET/Purple parakeet!

Miko sat with me for about 15 minutes, burrowed under a layer of my shirt to get warm...and pooped on me! I've been initiated.LOL!

Oh my goodness!! It looks like your baby won't be white after all. I think the little fuzz butt will look like Petey! So cute!!

I have realy enjoyed viewing your bird family's progress. miko is just adorable! What kind of a personality does he have? :P

Out of the nest box, Miko is still somewhat shy, yet explores a bit when you set him down.

Within the nest box, Miko is very much a baby bird. Loves cuddling with mom, and when she's eating, he will stand at the entrance of the nest and cry for her; whether or not it's been a couple of minutes or a few seconds... depends on his mood. He is rather spoiled, both Petey and Olivia working on food for him, one chick. Other times I see him in the nest box in the corner. I think he uses it as support so he can sit up without needing to use the muscles he doesn't quite have developed.

I think his personality will start to emerge in another week.
