Thanks. It's just been one thing after another today. I got an email from my friend who works with autistic children saying they isolated the autistic gene and believe it's maternal. That made me feel a whole lot better...not!

Isolation of the gene will prove helpful in the long run. besides would you blame someone for giving birth to a baby with no legs or a blind child ? No, you hope for the best. It doesn't matter whether the gene is maternal or not, but now that they know it will help research.

I am glad they are okay though. Kids will try anything no blame needed, non-autistic children have done much more dangerous things trust me. It's just life.
