There's no way I could name an all time favorite song!! I have lots of favorites. I think probably my all time fav group has to be The Beatles though. When we were on holiday, once, The Four Tops were supposedly providing the entertainment. As far as I recall, they were quite good, but I didn't know them well enough to recognise them & I doubt that this was the genuine article.

I grew up listening to The 4 tops, Temptations, Smokey Robinson, the Isley Brothers and Marvin Gaye.

I'm not a big Beatles fan, but I watched them singing 'She Loves You' the first time they sang it on TV, so that's special. And 'Hey Jude is lovely. 'Eleanor Rigby' is thought provoking.

Neil Young's Keep on Rockin' in the Free World, CSNY's Ohio, Led Zeppelin's Trampled Under Foot, almost anything by Aerosmith (of the '70s --their later stuff is "yawn city"), Handel's Messiah, anyone at all's version of Ave Maria...

Heh heh -- last concert was Aerosmith, about 10 years ago... getting a bit too old fogeyish to deal with the crowds & chaos!

The last concert we went to was the American Idols, also (and we watch it "religiously" also), but are we allowed to talk about concerts on the "favorite song" topic?
