I liked David Cook-thought he totally rocked and was the total package voice and performance.Little David had amazing voice too and was just so darn cute but I think he had a little growin up to do But he could sing just about anything! I used to love going to concerts too-the crazier the better..but yeah not so much for crowds and chaos anymore either. It's h*** to get old... With all the moshing(SP) goin on we might get hurt! My husband ~ then boyfriend ~ loved Led Zep.
I wasn't keen, but I do like Stairway to Heaven.
He also loved Free ~ and I've got to like 'All Right Now'.

As I said, I was more into Davids Cassidy & Essex. (Talking of concerts, I think the last one I attended was their joint one with The Osmonds & The Bay City rollers a few years ago.)

I like lots and lots of classic rock songs, cant really pin down a favorite but I do like to listen to classic rock radio because I'll hear something I forgot about. I may be dating myself here but remember Peter Framptom before Framptom Comes Alive - when he was with Humble Pie?

Yeah I vaguely remember. I'd totally forgotten about Humble Pie! One of my bros had a couple of their albums and I remember him pointing out to me about Frampton bein with them when I got my first Frampton album.

When I was a soph in high school, my favorite song to slow dance to, at the school sock hops (on the gymnasium floor) was, "To Know Him is to Love Him."

I was going to say that the song was by the Trio (Ronstadt, Parton, and Harris), but this link shows that when I danced to the song around 1958-60, it was by someone else:
