Well, you know, they both can have character, and either one is a winner, at this point. You see - I'm not good at trash talk.
I'm loyal to my team, though. If I say I'm a fan, I'm a fan through the good and the bad.
In the interviews in San Diego, they were asking us if we were intimidated because so many Oakland Raiders fans were in town, and so few of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Marge grinned and said, "Us, intimidated? Hey, we play in the black and blue division. Cheese heads, vikings, you name it. Some little wimpy Raider Nation gonna scare us? No way!"
Even the newscasters chuckled.

My, my, my -- just looked up "rooting!" I get enough grief around here for pronouncing it "roooooot" whereas the Chicago natives pronounce it "root" as in the "oo" of book." I tend to use the work "bonkers" a lot (as in, looney/crazy) but in England "bonk" means, er, something like what "root" means in Australia!
But ----- man, I sure will try to catch some of the World Series of BASEBALL, and I am rooting for-- er, pulling for Philly! Sorry, Carl!!
