Marge took me to see him in concert at what was then called the Thunder Dome in St. Pete - now Tropicana Field. The other night, watching the game, they showed some of the nose-bleed seats, where we were.

Indoors, with security, I figured I wouldn't see some of the smokey haze that Marge talked about, but I did.

Lady Di, on the baseball topic - which is ending now, said she was going to Macy's to do some damage.

You could substitute "Lady Di" for "Lola" in -

"Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets...!"

Sadly, I tried to compensate my sadness with spending money, and it didn't work. I got to Macy's and bought nothing. I just walked around in a fog. So, here goes:

And although I'm not quite this cynical or desolute, "Sounds of Silence." And there's "Eleanor Rigby." Not that you're a "lonely person" or in "darkness."

Ok, sorry!! Teaching preschool really gets into my brain some days. I just like this little tune and it makes me feel "special". and I have been singing it all day.

Ok, so I made hubby this beautiful dinner and just got a phone call. "HOney, i'm working late, no dinner for me tonight".
