If you have a chance, listen to more of his music, you will fall in love with him as I have done. I'm not a big concert goer, but I never miss him when he's in the Philadelphia area.

The man has an incredible voice even though its all in italian. His song "time to say goodbye" is wonderful too. I own several of his CD's.

I love his version with Sarah Brightman. One of my favorite Josh Groban songs is called "Caruso". OMG!!! I guess I'm such a huge fan that I love every Josh Groban song. One of my favorite CD's is The Three Tenors, in Italy. I'm also a huge Placido Domingo fan. Don't apologize for being a "downer". You have every reason to be down and it's perfectly normal to feel that way. Trust me. I know.
You know, Val, love that elevates our spirits cannot be contained by "time." It is really eternal. And our little "time" within that eternity is so very special.
We replay it in our minds and our emotions and are so thankful that we had the "time." Think of those who never get to experience this kind of love and inspiration and growth.
May that be a message to all: give of yourself and it will come back tenfold; and don't waste the opportunities that you have for the special ones in your life. In a sense, "now" is forever, but how sad if the "now" has nothing in it to remember that is special!

Well, you know, that's what's great about music and the arts. What speaks to us doesn't necessarily speak to another.
How boring it would be if we all liked the same thing.
On the concept behind "candle" and "goodbye," I am drawn to stories, songs, and art that point to the something "individual" and special that each of us contribute to our world consciousness (if there is such a thing).
Birds or animals in our lives. Family. Friends. Even, sometimes, complete strangers. Can touch our lives - our very souls, I think.
