Hi everyone. Been gone a LONG time. My budgies are still alive and well at 14 & 12. And my photobucket image has been deleted??? dangit.

I am having trouble with my avatar it keeps saying improper photo type? any suggestions?

If you right-click on images, this will give you the dimensions.

Avatars ~ 'there is a hard upper limit of 320 pixels wide by 240 pixels high'.

Signature images ~ 'MUST be under 200 pixels in height'.

This may seem trivial, but please remember that this concerns images which are repeated regularly and so take up quite a bit of the page. They are lovely to look at but must be kept within the regulation limits.

Avatars are the little pictures, on the left, that people use to identify themselves.

Signatures are the little quotes or images that people use at the end of each and every post.

They both come up automatically once set.
