My guess is that if he didn't get enough sleep and was only like that for a little while, he was just tired and needed to rest a lil bit.
Keep us posted though, you never know with these little guys!

Well, I had to give a little chuckle. When I had Brian come home to see Levi earlier, he thought I was just being paranoid.And he had to go back to work of course. Guess who just called to check up on the little xxxxxx?? LOL I guess Daddy WAS just as worried as I am! haha
I'm happy to report that Levi is back to his old self. Crazy as ever and singing along with Fleetwood Mac. I'm beginning to think he WAS just very tired and got up too early after such a late night.But I had never seen him that puffed up before..he looked like a puff a lump! And it was like he couldn't keep his eyes open! Maybe I panicked a little??
I think I will try to put him down for a nap in a little while tho. Geesh, did that sound funny or what? Like he's a little kid or something! LOL Just how do you put a bird down for a nap anyway?
Maybe I will just close the curtains and leave lights off so it's fairly dark and close him in his cage. Should I cover the cage or will that confuse the heck out of him being covered mid day?
I kept the appt i made for Monday just in case..funny "daddy" said to keep the appt too when he called to check in, before I even mentioned it WHO'S not worried??? LOL

Glad to hear Levi sounds like he's back to normal, Kelley! I totally sympathize with your "paranoia" and would probably have done the same things you did. It really does sound to me like he was just tired and out of sorts.

I really do think he was just tired. He's totally back to normal and very very active. Just a minute ago Brian said he was on top of the cage trying to lure Ziggy out saying C'mon Ziggy-then he went in the cage and chased Ziggy off the boing and hopped back out the door for Zig to follow. And off they went!
I tried to put him down for a nap earlier-darkened the room and covered just the top portion if the cage. Typical kid..he went to the bottom of the cage where he could see out and proceeded to push his jingle balls around. I took the cover back off and about 1/2 hr later he was up on his perch chatterin himself to sleep Took a quick nap and he's right back to playin! I think he's fine.
