i bought a 2 month old hand fed parakeet yesterday. its playing and eating fine. the only problem is that its not making any noise or chirping. the last time it chirped was at the store when the owner was filing its nails. What do i do??

Don't worry, its normal! Hes just adjusting to his new home. It may be a little while before he starts making noise.

Yeah, like Justin said it could take a few days for your baby to start chirping. H/she is still kind of scared of his new home. Have you tried playing some music for him? Maybe he'll like it and sing along.
