A store itself may be very clean and take good care of the animals, but the breeders that Petsmart gets its animals from are, if what the videos show is true, cruel and inhumane. When you buy supplies from Petsmart you are supporting them, and they use their money to buy from these places. When you buy an animal from Petsmart, it means that another one will be bred in inhumane conditions to take its place. Then again, we can't just leave the animals there. When you buy them and take them to a good home, you are saving them from going to an awful home and, in some cases, from living in poor conditions in the pet store. The only solution is for these breeders to be shut down and replaced by GOOD ones. Besides trying to make that happen, I guess the best we ourselves can do is to not buy supplies from Petsmart... they make more money from supplies than from animals anyways. I bought Beaker from Petsmart but I never buy supplies from them, or any petstore, I just get them online.
