Helwa you're right. Rather than judging a people by the majority's actions, they judge by the smaller groups which are the ones targeted by the media and are only ever talked about. But its not just Muslims that suffer this; Christians, Buddhists, the Jewish, Atheists like myself, different races, etc. etc. People only think about the bad in the minority and assume the rest are just as bad. Thats a big part of racism right there.

I am an atheist and I personally think the Church and many other churches are a disgrace in some of what they do(whole other topic), however smaller churches that you find in towns all over do good work such as charity. Take my family for example. We are very poor. We have no money. My mom is a single parent of three with no job because she is physically disabled. We live off of child support and Disability. Over the years we've recieved assistance from Churches who donate to us for Christmas presents when we were little, preparing meals for us, clothes, other helpful things like that. I was not crazy about the idea, and I'm still not, but I appreciate it. Churches do alot of good work like this. Our life would have been worse off without some of the help we recieved. The same with lots of other families even poorer than us.

So basically.... just because some of a people are bad or do bad things does not mean all of them are bad. Unfortunately not everyone realizes this.

No, it has not been proven incorrect. Just because most scientists who really understand carbon-dating "claim" that the earth is older than 6000 years doesn't make it the truth.

The ONLY truth is that of the Bible and the earth is about 6000 years old. Everything else is a bold faced lie, and I pity those people who actually believe otherwise.

I believe I stated that if a parent is disabled or even a child for that matter, the government should intervene. I don't frown upon it, since quite frankly that is exactly what my husband does for work. He interviews people with disabilities and recommends government intervention. So, no I don't frown on government assistance so long as it is for the right reasons. Please don't try to twist my words. I also indicated that perhaps the churches of different faiths should help people than solely placing the burden on the government. I believe Justin has indicated that this is exactly what has been happening with his family. Did you miss that part?

I agree that, in the past, Islamic culture was more advanced and civilised than Christian culture. Islamic architecture was magnificent & beautiful (I love the Alhambra, for example). Knowledge & ability in medicine, etc, was advanced. The behaviour of the Crusaders, Inquisitors, etc, was barbaric.

And I do not think that the church, which erected this aggressive sign, seems to be of an advanced and civilised culture, either.

Sadly, though, there are, & have been, many people who behave in an uncivilised manner, in the name of their religion or belief system ~ whether or not the actual / original teachings support it and, often, verses can be shown which imply that they do.

Sadly, while there are many Muslims who want to follow their religion and get on with their lives in peace, there are many others who want to destroy every 'infidel' and make every country an Islamic country. They also want to destroy every Muslim who does not agree with them. Unfortunately, they give people, like the minister of this church, fuel for their fires.

In the case of this aggression, there is fault on both sides. I only hope that it doesn't escalate beyond the suffering & fear that already exists.

The Sapps (an ironic name when you think about it) are the daughters of Wayne Sapp - a pastor in the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainsville, Florida. this is the same Jesus Loving church that has the sign posted in front of their church with the same hate speech.

I have said this before, and I will say it again. Christianity is spread by brainwashing children into believing the fairy stories when they young and impressionable.

When 10 year old Faith was asked why she wanted to wear this T-Shirt, this is what she said: "Because I thought it would give people a change in reality and in what they think of God and what they think of Islam"

Later, when asked if she knew any Muslim children she said something really interesting. "I don't have any contact with them at the moment. I don't know why that is. I guess we've just never become friends."

At least the heathenous Public Schools had enough sense to send the girls home from school for violating the dress code.

im happy they were actually sent home, but my mind goes back to numerous stories of people wearing anti gay shirts or anti christianity shirts who were actually expelled for such hateful expressions.

i honestly feel very sorry for these 2 little girls, they just never had a chance to see the world through the honest innocence of a childs eyes, not with parents like that anyway.

hopefully as they grow up they will question the way things are and read a few books and not be as hateful as their parents.
