I've seen Romena do that to Julliete and Stella to Tweety! Romena tries to do that to Julliette all the time. She has an anger management problem. I think. I stop her when I see her and Stella too, but I've seen it! Lttle girlie Budgies are MEAN MEAN MEAN!

keets seldom get into really SERIOUS fights, but tweetymom is right, the gals can be NASTY!!! two females have been known to, sometimes, actually fight to the death over a single male. that is the one thing that the girls get really "catty" about! LOL

Well, a little update! I let them play a little together, they are able to get out of their cages, and go into see each other if they like. Taji was the one to go into Blue's cage. She right away started griding her beek and was all content are started to take a nap. Well I left them alone for awhile, then they kind of started to play, but kinda being nippy, they really never bit each other, they were like biting in the air. Taji was more the one to chase Blue around the cage, well back and forth on their perches. Should I let them back together and see what they do? Or just let them out periodicaly together to play? I am so confused. I dont know how she could pull all is flight feathers out like that just on one side. And plus on top of that, it happen two weeks after they have been together in a cage.. Just so confused... =/ ???

I think you should keep them apart for a little more and continue have their little "sessions" in the cages for a week or so and then you should have that question for yourself, Do you trust her?

I am not sure if I trust her. I know I feel sorry for them cause they are not together and they call out for each other. =(
It just seems so odd to me that this just happen after they had been together for 2 weeks. I am also pretty new to the bird thing so do not know that much. But always ready to learn more. I am also a slave to a 7 yr old Sun Conure named Kona. She is absolutely beautiful! Thank you everyone for your input.=)

Ok, just a little update. I have been putting Taji and Blue together in the same cage during the day then seperating them at night. They are doing really well. Plus I have not seen her try to pull any of his feathers out yet.
Ok now a question? Taji my female chases blue my male around. Then my male keet sings to her and they like kiss I guess buit bob their heads. Its cute, but hoping thats not fighting. =) Also Taji my female will flap her wings like a hundred miles per hour while looking at my male keet. What dos that mean?
Thanks again everyone for your time..

I'm just checking, now that you're preparing to have a male and female together and "happy" - have they had vet checkups and been OKed for breeding? You want to make sure her body can withstand the stress of creating eggs! Also you want to make sure you have supplies on hand, to deal with all of that.
