Hey good point about the 100 years, General. We may find the 'shut-off gene' any time now. That is the one that instructs cell lines to die. If not in this lifetime, then maybe the next one, we will be grappling with a whole new set of issues surrounding immortality.

If you ever read Lord of the Rings, you see from the Elves that it really comes with a lot of baggage to live essentially forever. smile

Well, the current world average life expectancy is 65 years old. So I would guess that - unless one of us is a statistical anomaly - we all will be dead within another 100 years. Even if one of us was for example 15 years old, the chance of them living to age 115 is incredibly small smile

Oh can you only imagine if all 6.8 billion people on the earth decided they wanted to get their hands on the treatment and live forever?

I'll put that into the asteroid category, hopefully that is something we will not have to even consider in our lifetime.

Oh I had thought that you had meant the entire human race only has 100 years.

heh, yes, lisa knows all and sees all, and mankind has only 100 years left. We better make them good ones! lol

I keed, I keed.

But you mentioned nuclear war, which is always a possiblity. Then there is the horrible option of biological weapon wars...shudder...these things could happen. ANYTHING could happen. I totally agree with Lisa about making the life we have now count. Living the best way we can each day.
