That is a nice perch. I think I'll try to make a perch sometime.

If you are going to make perches, you have to make sure they are made from keet safe tree branches. And be sure the trees in your area are not treated with pesticides. Trees by roadsides are not good because of pollution.

You don't have to use only apple tree branches, any from the safe trees are fine.

Excellent advice kk...rule of thumb is no trees with anything of a sap like feed to them, such as birch or evergreens also there are others too like cherry so yes they should check..

As I have said before it is abranch from my apple tree. I baked it to kill bacteria and we don't use any chemicals in the gaarden. They enjoy chewing the bark off.
