The point that I am trying to make is that people have been & are being used and abused throughout the world ~ and we should not seek to blame, but to explain, and to put right ~ if we can.

So, yes, Christians have done dreadful things & Muslims have done dreadful things, etc, etc. Same for White people and Black people, etc, etc. But most people just want to get on with their lives, so blaming, hating and hurting are all counter-productive. We should seek out common ground and try to just get on with each other & with our lives.

We must live in the present, learn from the past and act for the future ~ in my opinion. However, people are emotional, and some are power-crazed, so it's not always easy.
